Installation of President the Rev Dr Sahr Yambasu

The new President of the Methodist Church in Ireland is the Rev Dr Sahr Yambasu. He was installed on the 9th June at the Agape Centre, Lisburn Road, Belfast. He is the first Irish person of African descent to hold this office. A full acount of the service and details of the President’s address will be published in the July/August issue of the Methodist Newsletter, which will be available shortly.
