The Rev Carol Hennessy was priested on Sunday 6th September, 2020, by Bishop Pat Storey. She was ordained as a deacon in September 2019. Carol is to serve in Naas Union of Parishes.

Due to Covid–19 space restrictions, the ordination was held in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Trim, facilitated by Dean Paul Bogle. Numbers attending the service were restricted and it was conducted in accordance with government guidelines concerning Covid–19.
