The Most Revd Dr Michael Jackson, Archbishop of Dublin, looks at the characters and emotions of Holy Week. He says we all have cooperating and conflicting emotions and suggests that Holy Week and Easter encourage us to see that in the midst of distress there is human resilience and in the midst of what looks like defeat, there will be another day.
