The Irish Church is made up of local churches, organisations and people across the island. If you want to see God glorified in Ireland through His Church and people, please pray – it will make a real difference.
The following scriptures are strong encouragements to pray knowing God will answer, when we pray according to his will:
- Jesus said, “Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.” (John 16:24 NIV)
- This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him. (1 John 5:14-15 NIV)
The following is a brief outline of what to pray for the Irish Church.
Please pray that all leaders would:
- glorify God in all that they do
- seek to love all people through words and actions
- preach the Gospel and make disciples
- teach and follow the Bible
- be filled with the Holy Spirit
Pray that people would:
- know God through repentance and faith in Jesus
- read the Bible each day
- pray to God each day
- find a church they can call ‘home’
- get involved in serving others
