Methodist President visits Ballynahinch

The President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, the Rev Peter Murray, spent time in Ballynahinch on Monday 9 March, visiting a variety of organisations and people in the area. Pictured here are (L-R): Winston Shaw (Mid-Down CAP Debt Centre Manager), Rev Ross Harte (Ballynahinch Methodist Church), Rev Peter Murray (President, Methodist Church in Ireland), Kelvin McCracken (Board Member, The Hub Counselling Centre) and Valerie Crawford (Volunteer, The Hub). Mr Murray also met Stanley Kelly, manager of The Edge Youth Centre. In coming days he will visit The Pantry Foodbank in Newcastle on Saturday and preach in Ballynahinch Methodist Church on Sunday at 11.00 am, as well as participate in the St Patrick’s Day Pilgrimage from Saul to Downpatrick.
