The wedding dress worn by Lady Christine Eames when she married her husband, the former Church of Ireland Primate Lord Robin Eames on June 25th, 1966, will be among dozens on display in St Columb’s Cathedral, Londonderry, later this month when the Cathedral holds ‘The Big Day’ Wedding Dress Festival.
The festival – which will run from Thursday 21st until Saturday 30th of June – will feature more than 60 dresses belonging to parishioners, clergy wives and clergywomen, and women from the wider community.
