New Rector instituted in Tullamore Union of Parishes, Dioceses of Meath and Kildare

Revd Isaac Delamere and Bishop Pat Storey

The Bishop of Meath and Kildare, Bishop Pat Storey, has instituted the Revd Isaac Delamere as Rector for Tullamore Union of Parishes. The Service took place on Thursday the 25th September in St Catherine’s Church, Tullamore.

The Revd Isaac Delamere is originally from Calary in Co Wicklow and is from a farming background. Married to Michelle, they have a young family. Prior to ordination he worked as a post–primary teacher.

Prior to coming to Tullamore he was rector of Narraghmore, Timolin, Castledermot & Kinneagh in South Kildare.

Following the Service the congregation, including friends, family and colleagues from around the dioceses of Meath and Kildare, were invited to a supper in the Parish Centre.

There are three centres of worship in regular use in the Tullamore Union of Parishes, St Catherine’s, Tullamore, St Brigid’s, Clara, and St Sinian’s, Tyrrellspass.
