Archdeacon Brian Harper appointed Archbishop’s Commissary in Clogher Diocese

The Archbishop of Armagh, the Most Revd John McDowell, has appointed the Venerable Brian Harper, Archdeacon of Clogher Diocese, as his commissary in Clogher Diocese.

The Archdeacon, originally from Dungiven and Limavady, was ordained in 1985 to serve as curate in St Columba’s, Portadown. He then served as curate in Drumglass, rector of the Ballygawley group of parishes and Mullavilly Parish, all in Armagh Diocese. He moved to the parish of Magheracross (Ballinamallard) in Clogher Diocese in 2012 where he is chaplain to championship football club, Ballinamallard United.
