Church with surprises re–dedicated by Bishop

Faughanvale parishioners’ nine–month exile from their parish church has finally come to an end following the completion of a major restoration project to repair damage caused during last August’s flooding in the North West.

St Canice’s Church – which was one of many properties in Eglinton affected by the downpour – was re–dedicated on Friday evening at a Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication led by the Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, the Rt Rev Ken Good, and the Rector of Faughanvale Parish, the Rev Canon Paul Hoey.
