‘The Winter’s Tale’ in Glaslough

One of the traditional musical events at Christmas in Clogher Diocese will be staged once again at St Salvator’s Parish Church in Glaslough, Co Monaghan.

‘The Winter’s Tale’ is an evening of music and verse reflecting on the true meaning of the Christmas story running on Monday and Tuesday, 18th and 19th December.

“We live in a world of hype and commercialisation with less thought given to the real reason as to why and how we celebrate Christmas,” explained the Revd Betty Thompson, Non–Stipendiary Minister.

She said there will be decorations by candlelight along the paths to the church…
